Dopp Kit Essentials You Must Be Knowing – Dopp Kit Guide

Men’s Quick Guide to Dopp Kit

essesntials of dopp kit

The name may be unfamiliar to some but fret not, there isn’t a man alive on the face of this earth who hasn’t, on more than one occasion,  used a Dopp kit. At least I hope that there isn’t. A Dopp kit is your small toilet bag, generally available in vinyl, cloth or leather. It is used during travel, for carrying men’s grooming products.

What does a Dopp kit actually have?

A Dopp kit usually has the following items: toothbrush , toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, razor, floss, shaving cream, cologne, deodorant, lip balm (Yes, Lip Balm, men have lips, don’t they?) , comb, contact lenses, eye drops, saline solution,  tongue cleaner, nail clippers, aftershave,  allergy pills, face wash, moisturizer, body wash, band aids, cotton swabs, hair gel, scissors, medicines and so on. Basically a mini version of everything you require when you are away from home and on the go.

There are a number of brands that make some really good Dopp kits, for each budget. They come in different sizes as well. If you are going for a short trip or just a night stay or are one of those men who requires only the basic products like your shaving cream, razor, toothpaste, toothbrush and maybe a medicine or two then you can opt for a basic Dopp kit in a small size. However if you are planning to be away from home for a longer period, my suggestion would be to pick a medium or large sized Dopp kit. Keep in mind that a large size Dopp is still an average sized bag, it just comes with more compartments or is made in a way as to hold all of your products and still leave you some spare room.

So analyze your traveling habits and pick wisely.
