All the Accessories You Need for Your Wedding Day

Weddings were once considered the most special day of a woman’s life; now, most men share the same notion. Since ladies aren’t shy to look their best at weddings, why should we have to hold back? Men are no longer behind women when it comes to styling and grooming. Wedding is just as special for us, and guests watch us too. Even if you don’t want to go the extra mile, you at least need to have all the basic accessories to complete your groom look.

A Classic Watch

Every man should have a few watches in his wardrobe even before his wedding. They are the best piece of jewelry a man can wear. A watch on your wrist doesn’t look like you are trying too hard nor gives you a simpleton look. This is one accessory that you must wear with your wedding dress, even if it isn’t a part of your regular attire. There are several types of watches. What you need is a simple classic watch.

A Wedding Band

It’s more of a necessity that you must follow on your wedding. Both the bride and groom have to wear a ring. Mens wedding bands come in various qualities and price ranges. They start at $100 and go up to $2,000. Depending on the traditions you are following, your wife-to-be may have to buy it for you. You can never go wrong with a platinum band, but it can be a little too expensive for most people. A titanium band around the price of $600 should be more than enough to add to your personality.

There are two options when it comes to neckwear: tie or bow tie. A bow usually goes best with a tuxedo. On the other hand, a classic black tie is the most common and safest option. Another option is to avoid all neckwear, but I wouldn’t suggest it. A tie brings more class to your suit. The color and type are mostly dependent on your outfit, just make sure you don’t experiment with bright colors.

Pocket Square

Many people don’t think it much big of a deal, but they have no idea how it improves the overall look. Typically, pocket squares have a color contrast to the suit, but it depends on how you have planned your attire. Another practice is to match the pocket square and the tie, which also works great every time.

Suspenders are an alternative to belts, so first make sure you don’t wear them both. I suggest suspenders over belts because they are more classy and unique. Trousers look better without a belt on them if they were custom stitched by a professional tailor. The color of the suspenders depends on you, but make sure they are leather.

Cufflinks can bring life into a mediocre outfit. They are available in many colors and designs. These can also be matched with pocket square and tie. Many clothing brands offer a set of all three, which solves your trouble of matching them.
